Workplace Giving and Employer Matching Gifts

Many workplaces offer easy ways to support local organizations through payroll deductions. Check with your HR department to see if they offer a paycheck withdrawal option for charitable donations.

Many employers also offer matching gift programs that double or even triple the value of your donation. Check with your HR department to see if they participate in a matching gifts program and submit the necessary paperwork.

Corporate Giving

Businesses can support Good Works, Inc. through direct financial contributions, sponsoring events, organizing workplace giving campaigns or in-kind donations of goods or services. Corporate giving partnerships make a significant impact and demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility. Volunteering as a team-building activity is also a powerful way to support our work.

Legacy Giving

Legacy Giving, also known as Planned Giving, refers to charitable contributions that are pre-arranged as part of your overall financial or estate planning. This can include bequests in a will, naming Good Works, Inc. as a beneficiary of a retirement or life insurance account, DAFs, gift annuities, real estate or using vehicles like charitable trusts. These gifts often provide tax advantages and allow you to leave a legacy that reflects your vision for the future. With thoughtful planning, it’s a win for you and Good Works, Inc. and is a way to make sure your dedication to our mission and ministry will continue for generations to come.

Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT)

With a Charitable Remainder Trust, you can give to a cause you care about—and still take care of yourself or your family. You place assets in the trust, it pays you an income for life or for a period of years, and after that, the remainder goes to a nonprofit like Good Works, Inc. It’s a great way to turn appreciated assets into income, reduce taxes, and make a lasting impact.
